Understand first,then build

I like to understand how an operation works before writing code. I design databases, develop backend services and build interfaces around the rules of the business. I also consider how the product is deployed and maintained.

My approach to AI is practical: chatbots, context-aware retrieval with RAG, tool-using agents and language models fine-tuned for a task. I focus on bringing these capabilities into usable, maintainable applications.

Context

A skincare and cosmetics commercial platform that brings together catalog, e-commerce, point of sale, inventory, payments, logistics and after-sales service. It serves end customers as well as sales, warehouse, cashier, purchasing, dispatch and admin staff.

My contribution

I developed it end to end, and it keeps growing incrementally: complex commercial flows, transactional modeling, API integrations and multi-role responsive interfaces.

Solution

A custom MVC on PHP and PDO with MySQL/MariaDB and SQL migrations, with Bootstrap and JavaScript views. It integrates shipping quotes and labels, OTP verification, captcha, email, WhatsApp and PDF and Excel generation.

Context

A platform that manages a regional summer science program end to end: registration, institutional validation, projects, applications, placement, documents, reports and certificates. Built in collaboration with TecNM Campus Monclova.

My contribution

Broad participation in the full development of the application and in the system design, in collaboration with TecNM Campus Monclova.

Solution

A placement process that combines reproducible rules with human judgment: normalized grade average, priority, date, progress and capacity, with transactions, rounds and comments. A post-check detects double placements, over-capacity and merit anomalies.

I took on the software engineering and data side of the project.

Context

A commercial product more than 25 years old, built with Visual Basic and Windows Forms. It supports projects, lots, contracts, cash, collections, partners, purchasing, attendance and access control, and must stay available while it is modernized. ParcelCore is an alias: the project is private.

My contribution

Full-stack engineering, architecture and modernization. It is team work: I am not the sole author of every module.

Solution

A modular ASP.NET Core API using vertical slices, a Vue 3 and TypeScript SPA, PostgreSQL with Entity Framework Core, granular permissions with auditing, document exchange and integrations with RFID and biometric clocks. The migration is advanced but not fully finished yet.

A private system for a transport company. Each fuel purchase becomes cost, consumption and efficiency data, and the operation extends into purchasing and inventory by location. FleetPulse is an alias.

My contribution

End-to-end full-stack design and development: architecture, transactional modeling, analytical queries and a field-capture experience.

Solution

Drivers log a fill-up from a mobile-first interface, administrators configure vehicles, stations and warehouses, and managers analyze trends by date, vehicle, station and driver in a filterable dashboard.

Context

It covers the full lifecycle of a race: publishing, registration, checkout, bibs, heats, lanes, time capture or import, and public results. RaceGrid is an alias.

My contribution

Solo authorship. End-to-end product engineering, native infrastructure, modeling of sporting and financial rules, and web security.

Solution

Native PHP without a framework, combining MVC with vertical slices; a mobile-first frontend in vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Results are ranked with millisecond precision. Payment is simulated: a real gateway, reconciliation and monitoring are still pending before production.
